Several representative low voltage distribution feeders are developed for analysing their operation under considerable penetration of distributed energy resources and electric vehicles. The models have been developed with the aid of Electricity Authority of Cyprus, Cyprus distribution system operator, by analysing several real low voltage feeders from the power system of Cyprus. The developed representative low voltage distribution feeders include urban, sub-urban and rural networks. Simulation models of PV systems with static/dynamic curtailment capabilities that support several reactive power provision schemes, energy storage systems operating in self-consumption mode, and uncoordinated/coordinated charging of electric vehicles are also developed and are made publicly available so that they can be used by the scientific community for further research studies.
