The main responsibilities of the TSOC are the operation of the electric power transmission system, the support and promotion of renewable sources of energy as well as to guarantee the access of all producers and suppliers of electricity to the transmission network. The TSOC coordinates the processes for the restoration of the generation and transmission system in case of faults so that the system is efficient, secure, reliable and operating economically. The above are performed to ensure an uninterrupted supply of electricity to the consumers.
