Antonis Antoniou

Antonis received his B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology in 2006 and his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in 2010. He started his professional career in early 2010 by joining the Cyprus branch of Ernst & Young as a junior IT administrator. His responsibilities, among other things, included the design, implementation, security and maintenance of the network, the security of the data and the design of the new virtualisation infrastructure of the branch. In 2010 he joined the ECE department of University of Cyprus and since then he is responsible for the computational and administrative infrastructure of the ECE department and KIOS Research Center. He is also participates in the design and implementation of the central HPC machine of the university. His professional interests include the design and administration of computational infrastructure (HPCs, computational servers, etc.) and the design and implementation of centralised management infrastructure for PCs (i.e. SCCM, fog).
