Moris Kalderon obtained his diploma in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), in the discipline of Structural and Geotechnical Engineering. After his graduation, Moris gained construction experience working as a Site Engineer for the New Double High-Speed Railway project in Tithorea, Greece. Subsequently, he received a Master’s degree from Imperial College London in the field of Soil Mechanics. After completing the program, Moris joined WSP in London, where he focused on the design of major UK infrastructure projects. In 2023, Moris was awarded a PhD from the School of Mechanical Engineering of the NTUA, in the field of acoustic and seismic metamaterials, as an EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow. Moris is currently a Research Associate at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence working on the risk analysis of critical power systems.
