The H2020 C-AVOID project officially ended on the 1st of October 2022. The MSCA Fellow Christian Vitale will continue his work on the ideas of C-AVOID at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence, University of Cyprus, as a Research Associate.
The paper “Periodic and Event-Triggering for Joint Capacity Maximization and Safe Intersection Crossing” was presented in London at the VTC2022-Fall conference. Check out the video of the presentation uploaded on the virtual platform of the conference!
The paper “Stochastic Muting with Short-range Relay Analysis” was presented in Turin at the IEEE 2022 WiOpt conference. The conference was held in person and the MSCA Fellow Christian Vitale also organized the 5 workshops that were held on the 19th of September at the same venue!
The MSCA Fellow visits the Politecnico di Torino to strengthen the collaboration with Professor Carla-Fabiana Chiasserini. The objective of the visit was to finalize a novel collision avoidance approach that will work at urban intersections. The work is currently under submission. Stay tuned!
