Eleni Stasopoulou studied Computer Science as a Fulbright scholar at Lehigh University, USA, where she earned her BSc degree, and later obtained an MBA from the Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands. She has extensive experience as a Software Engineer across the full software development lifecycle, including leading roles in BSS/OSS transformation initiatives within the telecommunications sector, involving core systems such as CRM, Product Catalogue, Ordering, Billing, and Network Inventory. She also played a leading role in the design and commercialization of a Pay TV platform, from content and package formulation to OTT service delivery via smart devices, including televisions.
At KIOS CoE, Eleni serves as a Solutions Architect to the Ministry of Health, leading the design and implementation of national platforms for public health monitoring and reporting to the ECDC, such as CIPHIS and BIOCARE. She also contributes to the CY-ESM project under the European One Health framework. Among her first projects at KIOS, Eleni led the analysis and design of the AFIIS e-vehicle platform, supporting the alternative-fuel ecosystem with EU-compliant architecture, and led the requirements specification for the Service Manager component of ACTING, an EU-funded project developing a federated cybersecurity training platform. Eleni combines technical depth with leadership and collaboration, supporting KIOS’s mission to deliver impactful, high-quality digital transformation solutions. She is currently working at KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence as a Senior Software Engineer.
