Panagiotis Chrysanthou is a Software Engineer I at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence, working on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). His current role involves 5G Testbed operations and the development of end-to-end systems, which include full-stack web development, machine learning, data analysis, and Python algorithms. He holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Cyprus, where his thesis focused on developing a cycle-accurate simulator for an in-order superscalar MIPS processor with register renaming. He also earned an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus, completing a thesis titled “Empirical Evaluation of Portable 5G Networking for Next Generation Emergency Response Management.
