Joep Blanksma has received his BSc in Creative Technology and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Technology from the University of Twente (Netherlands). Joep previously worked as a R&D engineer where he was part of building an EMS that could steer a fleet of batteries, PV and wind farms. Joep has joined the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence in October 2025 as a Research Engineer I.
