Yuanchao Yang

Yuanchao Yang received the B.S. and Ph.D. degree both in control engineering from Xi’an Jiao-Tong University, Xi’an, China. He was a visiting researcher with the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, IL, U.S.. He was an Assistant Professor and an Associate Professor at Northwestern Polytechnical University and Xi’an Polytechnic University, Xi’an, China, respectively. He is currently a Post-doctoral Researcher at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence. His research interests include safety-critical (aerospace and energy) system control and optimization, intelligent transportation systems optimization, GNC system design for advanced aerospace systems.
