Sofya Fedkina graduated from the University of Nicosia with a BSc in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science in 2025 and is pursuing an MSc in Cyber Security at Lancaster University. She is currently a Research Engineer I at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence. Sofya’s research interests include high-level synthesis and RTL design for computationally demanding applications, hardware-software co-design, and embedded systems security.
