Christos Pishias

Christos Pishias is an organisational design and strategy specialist with over 20 years of international experience in operations management, public sector reform, and innovation-led transformation. He works at the intersection of strategy, governance, and delivery, supporting organisations to translate ambitious vision into practical, high-performing systems. Christos holds a BSc in Management Sciences and an MA in Creative and Media Enterprises from the University of Warwick. Christos began his career in healthcare transformation at University Hospital Lewisham in London before leading complex change programmes across the UK public sector. He is the founder of ROI(η) Operations, a UK consultancy supporting public and third-sector organisations in strengthening operational capability, commercialisation strategy, and organisational performance. Through this work, he has contributed to national digital health initiatives, local government transformation programmes, and innovation-driven service redesign. He is currently Operations Manager at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence, where he focuses on organisational effectiveness, strategic planning, performance frameworks, and strengthening the Centre’s capacity to translate research excellence into sustainable impact. He brings a systems-thinking approach, combining analytical rigour with collaborative leadership to build environments that are agile, accountable, and innovation-ready.
