Solon Falas received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Cyprus. He is a Researcher Associate at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence at the University of Cyprus. His work spans hardware design and optimization, AI model training and deployment, and the security of cyber-physical and embedded systems. His research interests include, but are not limited to, cyber-physical systems, industrial control system security, hardware security, secure firmware updates, and physics-informed neural networks for power system monitoring, state estimation, and attack mitigation.
