Marios Shimillas has received his BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cyprus in 2021. He furthered his academic pursuits and earned an MEng in Energy Technologies and Sustainable Design from the University of Cyprus in 2023. Currently, he is an Electrical Engineering PhD student at the University of Cyprus, undertaking his research at KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence. His research is focused on Decentralized Control Systems for Networked Microgrids, specifically within a Rolling Horizon Framework under the supervision of Professor Mathaios Panteli.
