Petros Petrou holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Cyprus and an M.Sc. in Advanced Computer Science from Queen Mary University of London. He is currently a PhD Student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Cyprus, undertaking his research at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence. His previous research work spans intelligent systems and hardware-software integration, from asynchronous-synchronous communication systems to machine learning and deep learning for acoustic applications, with a focus on robustness and generalization across synthetic and real-world data. His research interests include robust and representation learning, multimodal learning, test-time adaptation, and adaptive intelligent systems.
