The European Researchers’ Night event, a celebration of research, innovation, and science, returns for its 18th year on Friday, 27th September 2024, at the State Fair, in Nicosia. This year’s theme is “Mission Possible: Researchers on Board for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future.”
The KIOS research team will participating in the event, highlighting the societal impact of research by demonstrating technological solutions that can make critical infrastructure systems smarter, greener and more secure. The KIOS booth, located in Hall A (Smart Cities zone), will feature interactive displays and demonstrations related to renewable energy, smart water systems, and emergency response technologies.
The event is organized by the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation, under the European Project “MISSION POSSIBLE,” Contract 101160964, funded by the EU’s Horizon Europe Programme for Research and Innovation 2021-2027.
