Andreas Nicolaou holds a B.Sc. degree in “Oceanography and Marine BioScience” (2019) from the University of Aegean and an M.Sc. in “GeoInformatics” (2022) from the Cyprus University of Technology. Throughout his master’s program, he focused on Remote Sensing applications, specializing in employing machine learning algorithms for classifying and monitoring coastal marine ecosystems. His research interests encompass environmental monitoring and spatial analytics. He is currently working as a Research Engineer I at the KIOS Research and Innovation Centre of Excellence.
