Andreas Skaliontas is currently employed as a Research Engineer I at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence, focusing on Power Engineering. He completed his undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering at the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) in 2021 and is currently finalizing his Master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering at RWTH Aachen University. During his academic and professional journey, Andreas worked as an Electrical/Mechanical Intern at the Central European Research Center of Hitachi Energy in Switzerland. There, he worked on electrical gas discharge simulation and modeling, laboratory experimentation, and statistical and probabilistic analysis.
