Antonis Savva received a MEng degree on “Electronics and Systems”, and a MSc degree on “Management of Organizations and Entrepreneurship”, from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2014 and 2018, respectively. In 2019, he received a PhD degree from ECE, NTUA, on analysis and processing of medical data. During his PhD research he developed methods for aligning pre-operative and post-operative Computer Tomography data, following a bone augmentation procedure, and for reconstructing panoramic views of the jaws using computer vision algorithms. His main research activities focused on analyzing functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging data, by developing methodologies using signal processing techniques, for quantifying dynamic associations between regions of the human brain, during the resting state in both healthy and pathological conditions. Since March 2020 he joined KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence as a Research Associate, focusing on the application of computer vision algorithms to drone related applications. His current research interests include signal processing, computer vision and pattern recognition.
