Georgios Stavrinides is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence. He received his BSc degree in Informatics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2006 and his MSc degree in Advanced Computing from Imperial College London, U.K. in 2007. He received his PhD degree in Informatics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2014. Before joining KIOS, he was a postdoctoral researcher/research collaborator in the Department of Informatics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. His research interests include resource allocation and scheduling algorithms, real-time distributed systems, cloud and fog computing, modeling, simulation and performance evaluation of distributed systems. He has authored or co-authored several technical papers and book chapters, including a number of papers that received the best paper award at international conferences.
