Konstantinos Fokianos

Undergraduate studies at the University of Ioannina (Bachelor of Mathematics 1991), postgraduate studies at the University of Maryland, USA. (M.A. 1993 and Ph.D., 1996, Statistics). He has taught at Ohio State University, USA (Visiting Assistant Professor), at the University of Cyprus (Lecturer, 1999-2001, Assistant Professor, 2001—2006, Associate Professor, 2006-2011 and Professor since 2012) and at Lancaster University (during 2018-2020). He has visited Ludwig Maximilians University, National Institutes for Health, EPFL, Cergy-Pontosie University, University of Bergen and TU Dortmund. He has been an elected member of ISI since 2005 and a member of the editorial team of the Journal of Time Series Analysis, Statistical Modeling and for the Springer Book Series: Frontiers in Probability and the Statistical Sciences. His research interests include Computational and Theoretical Methods for Time Series, High-Dimensional Time Series Analysis, Integer-Valued Time Series Analysis, Diagnostics, Detection of Interventions, Measures of Dependence, Spectral Analysis, Applications in Economics and Biology, Semiparametric Modeling and Statistical Inference, Isotonic Estimation.
