Lysandros Tziovani received the B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph. D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cyprus, in 2015, 2017, and 2023. He is currently an Assistant Network Engineer at the Electricity Authority of Cyprus and a part-time Research Associate at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence. He received the 2023 ETEK Engineering Award for developing the software tool Optimal Unit Commitment and Economic Dispatch for the Power System of Cyprus. He was also selected as one of the five global finalists for the 2025 IEEE PES Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award. His research interests include electric power systems and optimization.
