Michalis Ramp

Michalis Ramp is a Post-doctoral Researcher at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence in the University of Cyprus. He received his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (ME) from the University of Cyprus, in 2008. He is the recipient of the Fulbright scholarship award for Masters studies in the USA where he obtained his Masters Diploma in ME (Control Systems) from the University of California at Berkeley, in 2010. He obtained a Ph.D. degree from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece on Multirotor UAVs, in 2022. His current research interests include nonlinear control systems, geometric mechanics/control, vehicular-traffic control, modeling of dynamic systems, optimization, robotics, and applied mathematics. He is currently working with Associate Professor Stelios Timotheou on the ERC project “Real-Time Urban Mobility Management via Intelligent UAV-based Sensing” (URANUS).
