Pantelis Brouko

Dr Pantelis Broukos has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Brighton, a Master’s Degree in Structural and Earthquake Engineering, from the CITY University London, UK, specializing in the areas of Earthquake Engineering and Reliability of Structures with the use of Probabilistic Methods. Additionally he has completed a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from the London Metropolitan University, UK. Pantelis received his PhD in Optimization in Urban Energy Systems and Infrastructure from Imperial College of London in 2022. He has extensive experience as a Civil Engineering associate in technical offices in Athens, Luxembourg and London with a 25 years overall experience in design of structures. Dr Pantelis Broukos is a Post-Doctoral Fellow, Marie Curie at KIOS Research and Innovation Centre of Excellence, University of Cyprus, where his research focuses primarily on the optimization of urban energy systems and infrastructure and the attempt to quantify the resilience decarbonization within the urban and semi-urban grid scale.
