Petros Petrides received his degree in Aerospace Engineering (MEng) form the University of Sheffield in 2015. During his career, Petros served as Ministerial Advisor to the Minister of Justice and Public Order of Cyprus, having previously served as Ministerial Advisor to the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy. Prior to his government service, he worked at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence on research and innovation projects related to public safety, emergency response, and critical infrastructure systems. Since March 2026, Petros has rejoined KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence as a Research Engineer II.
