Titos is currently a Research Engineer II at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence. He received his BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Cyprus in 2022, where his undergraduate research focused on power systems and the impact of advanced voltage regulation functions of smart inverters in microgrid feeders. He also earned an MSc in Intelligent Critical Infrastructure Systems from the University of Cyprus in 2024, receiving the Best MSc Thesis Award. He has been a Research Engineer at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence since 2022, where he develops software and hardware solutions for critical infrastructure monitoring and power systems. His work includes the development of Python-based tools for real-time Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU) data acquisition, visualization, and analysis, with applications used by the Cyprus Transmission System Operator. His research interests include power systems, artificial intelligence, machine learning, smart grids, critical infrastructure protection, and data-driven monitoring and fault diagnosis. He is the author and co-author of several conference publications in the fields of power system monitoring and fault localization using artificial intelligence.
