Zacharias Komodromos is currently a Data Analyst at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence, University of Cyprus. His research interests primarily focus on the integration of machine learning, data science, and data analysis. He specialises in applying statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and time series forecasting methods, both statistical and learning-based, along with data visualization and data mining techniques, to extract actionable insights from complex datasets. Prior joining the research area, Zacharias gained practical experience as a Data Analyst in the industry. He holds a Master’s degree in Data Science and Analytics from the University of Leeds, completing his dissertation on the Analysis of Satellite Data of Rainfall (geospatial data) in 2021. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Warwick in 2020.
